Heart-y Cherry Vanilla Oatmeal

This quick, easy, and delicious breakfast is ideal for strengthening heart blood. The anti-inflammatory cherries make this recipe perfect for helping those suffering with arthritis, RA, or gout.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup frozen sweet dark cherries

  • 1 cup water

  • pinch of himalayan salt

  • 1/4 tsp organic vanilla extract

  • 2 TBSP organic cow, sheep or goat's milk (if dairy-free, substitute coconut milk)

Directions:

Add oats, cherries, water and salt to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to simmer, cooking for 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract and serve in a bowl. Top with milk and enjoy!
