Goji Berry Tea for Good Vision

Updated: Feb 26, 2021

Goji berries (aka Chinese wolfberries) are small dried red berries packed with antioxidants. They taste sweet and tart (like a sour cherry) and are smaller than a raisin. They are also one of the best food sources of the carotenoid zeaxanthin, proven to improve vision and reduce the risk of macular degeneration. Goji berries benefit the Liver and Kidneys, nourish the blood, improve eyesight, protect your vision as you age, boost your immune system and treat dry cough. These little berries are so therapeutic that they only need to be eaten in small amounts. If you are anemic and/or experiencing vision problems, this is the perfect tea for you. You can enjoy goji berries on their own (as a snack) or in the form of this tasty blood-nourishing tea.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Pour boiling water into coffee mug and add 1 TBSP goji berries.

  • Let the goji berries steep for 10 minutes until they plumpen and the water looks like weak tea.

  • Sip when slightly cooled. You can also eat the berries while drinking.

These berries are sweet enough that you don't need to add any sweetener to the tea. Add a fresh squeeze of lemon to further benefit the Liver or add 1 tsp of fresh grated ginger to improve digestion and benefit the Kidneys.
