Kidney yang deficiency is a Chinese medical diagnosis seen primarily in elderly patients, women with low progesterone, men with low testosterone, patients with adrenal fatigue, or patients having difficulty conceiving or staying pregnant.
Symptoms of kidney yang deficiency include: lower back ache, cold/weakness in knees, weak bladder, frequent pale urination, loose/watery stools, swelling in the lower legs, hearing loss, infertility, fatigue, feeling cold, cold limbs, symptoms better in the summer and worse in the winter, lack of thirst with a preference for warm drinks, lack of motivation, and fear of cold.

Ingredients:
2 packs of 5 oz. wild-caught pink salmon, drained
2 eggs, beaten
¼ cup gluten-free panko breadcrumbs + ¼ cup saved on side
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 TBSP chopped scallion
2 cloves minced garlic
½ tsp ginger paste
1/8 tsp black pepper
½ tsp sea salt
1 TBSP ghee
½ TBSP black sesame seeds
½ TBSP white sesame seeds
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together the salmon, eggs, ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs, worcestershire sauce, scallion, garlic, ginger, black pepper and sea salt.
Form mixture to make 5 patties.
In a small bowl combine ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs with black and white sesame seeds.
Place patties one at a time into breadcrumb and sesame seed mix until both sides are coated.
Heat ghee in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Gently place the patties onto the heated skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Serve as is or cut in half and stuff into a corn tortilla and top with avocado mayonnaise.
